The word "whiskeria" is often used to tell its a brothel.  So in Santa
Cruz del Tenerife you can find the "Whiskeria del Luna" which is a
classical house, old-roman stiled; you are waiting in a small room
till the one come you like... But you should not intend to go there
after a soccer game; either they win or loose - its a cause to visit
the girls and relax...  When I was there they were so busy that no
girls were available; as a signal to stay there and wait, they offered
us free drinks to stand the undelightful situation. As I was very
horny I did not want to wait for hours, so I can not say how it
was... But the place itsself looked very good.

"Barra americana" (bar americain) are bars with a very long bar where
you can find girls; but you have to pay her a "copa". Best was the
"bar de la rosa" at an highway exit shortly after the Tenerife South
Airport northbound in direction Santa Cruz de Tenerife.  We stayed one
week in Teneriffe and had been there 4 or 5 times. We could not forget
the charming ladies even one year later....They have time for you. I
guess we paid 15.000 ptas, thats more than in Spain itself where it
is cheaper. But tourist's region always seem to be more expensive.
